About IU MİLAT 1453
MİLAT 1453 is the short form of National Vehicle Design and it symbolizes İstanbul University’s opening date 1453. IU Battery Electric Vehicle Team MİLAT 1453 was made in February 2015. The team continues its works especially about shell design and making domestic production of motor and driver. In 2015, the team, aware of that improving yourself is really important, was the second in Turkey in TÜBİTAK Vehicles with Alternative Energy Competition.
A Fixed Winged and a Rotary Wing Unmanned Air Vehicle (Uav) Teams, apart from all these, was made within IU MİLAT 1453 for TÜBİTAK International Unmanned Air Vehicles Competitions, which will be held for the first time in our country in this year. The studies of the two groups continue hard. However, because of the negations emerged, participation in these categories will be provided in 2017.
